Application
The Nobles of Ali Temple #257 Oasis of Jacksonville-Desert of North Carolina will be
awarding scholarships to deserving students to assist with funding their college education.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the application and we wish you the best of luck
with all your future endeavors. To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Must be a graduating high school senior from an Onslow County high school or a college
freshman that graduated from an Onslow County high school at the time the scholarship is
awarded and planning to attend a 2-year community college or 4-year college or university.
- Application packet must be postmarked before Friday, May 24, 2024. Mail the completed application packet to:Ali Temple #257

- Submit a Completed and Signed Application Packet. Please include the following items with your application packet: Scholarship Application Packet Checklist
- Official signed copy of your High School Transcript. For graduating high school
seniors this serves as proof of upcoming graduation from an Onslow County high school and
current GPA. For college freshman an official signed copy of your high school transcript or a
copy of your high school diploma (proof of graduating from an Onslow County high school)
and an official printed transcript from your current college reflecting your current GPA.
- A color 5×7 sized photo of the applicant.
- One Letter of Recommendation from each of the following:
- Community Leader and School Official.
- A community leader can be a representative from your church, community activist, organization member, or politician.
- A school official can be a professor,
instructor/teacher or a guidance counselor.
- Personal Statement Question.
- Copy of College Acceptance Letter (s) or Class Registration. For graduating high
school seniors, you are required to submit a copy of your college acceptance letter (s) or a class
registration. For college freshman, you are required to submit a copy of your college
registration or a letter from your college (Registrar’s Office, Guidance Counselor, Financial Aid
Office) stating you will be attending for the upcoming semester.
